The Knecht Group is a company operating throughout Switzerland with around 2,500 employees. We are active in the following areas:
- Passenger transport with EUROBUS, the largest private bus company in Switzerland, which offers package and group travel and is also active in public transport
- Freight transport with Welti-Furrer, the oldest Swiss transport company, a leader in removals and storage, art logistics and special transport
- knechtcare in the fields of rehabilitation, nursing care and patient transport
- Knecht Reisen, the largest Swiss tour operator with 14 brands and 20 locations
- Commercial vehicles with Thomann Nutzfahrzeuge, specialising in the sale and servicing of commercial vehicles
As a family business founded in 1909, the Knecht Group has an extensive understanding of how to build and run companies.
In healthcare, the demands placed on companies are considerable and continue to grow (compliance, data protection, regulation and more). This is particularly challenging for SMEs with limited resources.
We have already welcomed a number of companies and entrepreneurs into the group. Our aim is to build successfully on what they have established and develop those companies further. We believe that together we can master challenges even better, make use of synergies and grow the businesses.
